My plecs have had babies and I haven't seen the male adult plec in a few days and after investigation I can't find it anywhere.

I've had everything out of the tank when transferring to my new bigger tank.

The only things in my tank are Plecs and neons..

Is it possible the plec died and the others have devoured it?

Plecos are opportunistic feeders so if he did die they wouldn't hesitate to eat him. If he's gone thats most likely what happened. :( Have you checked on the floor around the tank? He could have gone carpet surfing... Also look in every nook and cranny of your decor, he could be hiding inside of something.
