I woke up this morning and one of my rusty Cichlids was missing a pectoral fin. He seems to be fine, just looks like Nemo. I've researched it some but can't find many clear answers. Any suggestions?
Well it could be from aggression. If there were other fish in there then they could have already established their areas. Try to take him out for a week or so.
I moved the landscape around in the tank this morning and observed for several hours, aggression doesn't seem to be the problem anymore. Will he recover? Ifso can I help him along in the process?
I'm not sure about that in this case. Ill let someone else answer that. But it should heal and grow back if it didn't damage it all the way to the meat
