Your favorite TV shows that "jumped the shark"

NCIS, but only because of that NCIS: Los Angeles or whatever that's a spinoff. The main show is great, the spin-off makes me want to bash the TV, it's really stupid.

Now when the two shows mix, THAT's good, because both shows have great casts and mix well.

It's just that one alone.

I feel the same way about CSI. The original is great, the spinoffs not so much, except when they intersect. Never really got into NCIS, though. I just get irritated when a few episodes of Bones or House end and NCIS comes on. It follows both of those shows occasionally and the cold openings can be fairly similar - someone gets hurt or a body is found, and then there is the flash to black and white and I know it's NCIS.

Definitely the X Files up until the last season. Idk, I just feel like everything entertainment took a nose dive after 1999.
