Zig zag eel

So the last three times I cleaned my tank my zig zag eel has come out and stays right next to my hand the whole time. When one of the other fish get close or is in my way of cleaning my eel chases it out of the way I mean every one even the crayfish in there. I thought I'd share cause I've never had any of my fish do this and was wondering if anyone else had similar experiences with any of their fish.

Especially cause he never comes out during norther times. He pokes his head out from the castle but when it's cleaning time he's right next to me like a guard fish lol.

My crayfish does this. It scared me the first few times, I was afraid of getting pinched. He chases the fish away and makes sure the snail stays in its shell if its not on the walls.
