stocking a 30gal

The only cichlids I have experience with are my discus, but I want another cichlid tank. I've got an empty 30gal that I'd like to use, but I realize most cichlids get too large for that. Are there any good dwarf species that would be good in a 30gal? Besides GBRs :]

How about some tangs like Neolamprologus Brichardi, a pair Julidochromis or some shellies all of these would work in a 30g. My choice would be the Brichardi pair, they have a great way of spawning and raising fry.

I have several well-established pairs of Cryptoheros cutteri and 100+ oblongums ready to pair off now available. Either species would work well in a 30, I actually spawned both in 29's. The oblongum in particular are very mellow fish toward other species. Shipping isn't a problem.
