I got a copper band butterfly yesterday and I was wondering what the best food to feed them is

I'm not sure on food but have any pics? Also how big is your tank.I want one as well.thanks

My tank is a 30 gallon but the fish is still small

He is always behind the rocks so it is hard to get a pic but when he is used to the tank il see if I can get a pic

copperbands can be difficult to feed their also difficult to keep you can try to dice up some clam or shrimp they may eat frozen brine shrimp.

Yes you can buy them frozen and thaw them as you need them you can also try mussels and scallops to

Will they jump out of the tank if there is no hood on it

that sucks. maybe your CUC got to him? was he eating anything before he went MIA?

I never saw him eat anything I only had him for 1 day too

I just found the bones of the fish in my tank, I have an anenome that is behind the rock that the copper band hung out by all the time is it possible that it got too close and the anenome got a hold of him
