Bought a gold nugget pleco about 5 days ago and i have bo idea if he is eating he does NOT move from a little cave that i have in the tank...
He only gets out to explore when it is pitch black...
Could it be because of the other bottom feeders in the tank?
I am extremely overstocked! I might give 4 or maybe 5 of my fish to one of my uncles friends...
My fish are:
6 cories
2ottos
1 gold nugget pleco
1 striped raphael cat
2 zebra danios
3 female guppies
4 platies
3 mollies
1 silver dollar
1 red blue columbian tetra (i know its supposed to be in a school but how am i going to get more fish?)
1 angel fish
In a 29 gallon
.....
They are all very greedy fish when it comes to the food...

So what can i do to get the gold nugget pleco to start eating and moving around??!!?!

Plecos are nocturnal but so are cories, raphael cats, and otos. They would compete with the pleco for food.

Yes they are nocturnal... But my cories are always active and so are my ottos ... Even the pleco that i have in my 55 gallon is active... Thats what worries me , i dont see my gold nugget doing anything...
