hope that hosting works out and your clown doesn't become lunch.

Lol... It's touch and go... Clown isn't a fool apparently... never heard of a nem eating a live fish, but I could be wrong...

i hope the starfish doesn't starve to death. they generally need a large dsb and eat a sand bed dead.

Mine is 5" and hasn't been stirred in a good while...

yeah tehy get huge! supposedly one of the more difficult to keep as well. From another forum i gather a lot of magnifica's are sold, but not that many actually are h. magnifica. When it opens up the tentacles closer to the mouth should be longer than the rest and something about bumps on the feet. reefcentral has a section devoted to nems and clowns which has helped a lot with mine.

Good place to get LR that won't have parasites? Need some for the new tank I get in Dec..

Dry rock works :) I'm getting 20 lbs of Pukani from BRS once I order my 29 Biocube.

Well, I cycle with the LR... I don't use anything else. Didn't just want dry rock. Plus I like the look of the Florida dry rock reefcleaners sells.

Saw that... Just not crazy about having hitch hikers. Also, how many bulbs do I need for a FOWLR? Looking at this.
Current USA Orbit PC Fixtures

If you're doing a FOWLR with no photosynthetic organisms, the light is just there so you can see inside the tank.

As far as this particular fixture, I can't speak to it, but I do have their 30" Sunpod (150W MH with white and blue lunar LEDs) which has the same type of housing. I've been largely pleased with it over my 37.

true story about military and the anachronisms. sheash. sometimes it would take less time just to tell a person what the *ell they where talking about.

:)..hehe...that is acronisms...

It is even worse when the same acronym stands for several different words depending on service or federal office. ie:

NRC:

National Response Center
Nuclear Regulatory Commission
National Research Center........
