Do you think I should just start with one additional or with the short amount of time there on would both be ok. It was your advice that lead me to that approach thank you.
 
If you monitor things closely I think both would be fine. If you start running into a problem then back up from where your at. I'm having to do it that way in order to determine exactly how long and how much of each light I can use.

Ok ill do that hopefully I can get it worked out to where there all on the same amount of time and still be on long enough for the plants to do there thing. If not I'll just have to go buy another timer lol.

So I know this doesn't matter at all but I'm at 5wpg lol. 48 from the t5 and 52 from the CFL's. Hah!
 
Ok so I got the riccia and diy co2 moved over to the 10g I don't know if the riccia is gonna make it. But anyways now for the amount of glut since I'm not using diy co2 anymore and its all glut how much should I dose? I was dosing 5ml and the diy was on the insufficient side I have little algae I've tried dosing h202 before a water change I've tried spot treating with the glut neither worked I was running the lights at 8 hrs but have cut it back to 6 with the other 2 on for 3 I just started that today. Should I stick with the 5ml of glut daily or up it another ml. I test Saturday when the lights come on and do my pwc's a little later. Oh and my dosing schedule and parmaters are:

Glut dosing 5ml everyday
Csm+b dosing 4ml on sunday and 2 ml m-f
No3. 10-15ppm dosing 1ml su-fr
Po4. 1.5ppm dosing 3ml su-fr trying to reach 2ppm

Go up to 1ml Glut per 2 gallons of water. With more light you might have to do a 1:1 ratio. Just do the 1 per 2g for 2-3 weeks and see how plants are doing and if your seeing algae. Remember that your tank will cloud after using Glut if you reach the overdose level. It won't hurt anything (I've done it) and the tank will be clear the next day but that is a signal that your at the max dose you can use for that tank.

Cool thanks should I dose that to the full 20g or the actual amount of water that's in there.
 
Been awhile so I figured I'd share a couple pics of my new aquascape on this tank. I moved and in order to get all the fish out I had to remove all the plants so I did a little adjusting. The marble sword grew way faster than I ever thought it would so I removed it all the rocks and the moss tree I was trying to make work it just wouldn't cooperate so its gone I added some more microsword moved the stems around split the crypt into 3 and removed the ludwigia ovalis it just wasn't growing very nice it looked ratty. Well here's the pics tell me what u think. The cabomba furcata I might get rid of and put something with either round or oval leaves mabey green not sure with what yet I'm open to suggestions.

The tank really is looking good Mike! Hope the newest little addition is doing well too!

I like how your crypt is colored up bronzie-red like that.
