OK so yesterday I just bought a pair or angel fish was told one is male and one is a female (don't know which so hopefully you can tell me from the pictures below) I was wondering what i can do to get them to be comfortable to breed I bought a flat slate rock because i read they like to lay there eggs on them. Any info and tips about breeding them and taking care of them i would appreciate it alot.

It would appear that the black one is possibly a male and the other a female. The "female" is not a particularly good speciman in terms of body shape and finnage. The black one is much better. There is also no way to tell what any offspring will look like, as the "female" appears to have a mix of strains. That rock should work, although I prefer a piece of slate because it is easier to handle. Good luck.

Yea the female was freaking out in the bag and injured some fins but i'm buying some catappa leaves and catappa bark since i read they help with healing and induce breeding.
