Bichirs and cories

Do you think that a corie would be eaten by a bichir. I would start small so he would be ok for a while. but fully grown? I would be going senegal so they only get like 12" and that takes forever to get too.

If he can even fit the tail in his mouth, he'll go after them. (Realization after watching the 3 inch long bichir drag the full grown zebra danio around the tank by the tail for half an hour.

Zebra danios have long finny tails though and this is usually what triggers that behavior. Cories do not.
