Bubble nesting

Ok so I came back to my tank that is at my house because I spent the 3 day weekend with my friends, and I came back to a rim of bubbles near the heater in my tank and they weren't there when I left. That may just be from the filter. Have you compared your fish to a picture of a pregnant one. I don't think this is bubble nesting, but not too sure...
 
I don't have a filter in my tank and my betta is a male so what else could it be?

Male bettas blow bubble nests when they're happy or if they like their surroundings, so yes it could be a bubble nest.
