Can any cichlids be kept in a 10? Convicts??

What are multis? Brevis cichlids? Does that mean I would have to get a bigger tank for convicts soon after them?

No don't mix the cichlids. You could do brevis, multis are a small shell dweller.

Convicts are too big for a 10.

Multis are Neolamprologus multifasciatus. A small shell dwelling cichlid.

Most of the smaller Apistogramma species can be kept in a 10. Just a pair though.

How to care for multis? How many in a 10g?

Could I do a brevis or 2 with multis? Forget the convicts

If you did multis that would be all that you could do. They will colonize though so you would end with a bunch.

Ok. Multis sound good. I'll sleep on it

If you saw the size of my male con, you wouldn't be putting it in a 10 gallon or even possibly a 20. A female could probably go in a 15 but not with too much else.

A pair of rams or a male and 2 female small apistos would be ok.

Pair of rams is kind if pushing it, I agree with the shellies or a pair of apistos, I have a pair of panduros in a 10 and they don't seem to miserable..

I've done rams only a pair successfully. Convicts successfully. And small jewels only 2 and same for the convicts. Convicts and jewels you'll will have to re home at some. Point. I'd go 1 or 2 rams in a tank the get very aggressive to one anther but I think you'll be fine as I was
