So my CP's mated about 2 months ago and had a bunch of babies blah blah blah now 2 months later 4 are left and they are full developed. they are in a 75 gallon tank with other fish and slowly some would get eaten (i had 6 this friday) so i moved them into their own tank but i cant hekp but feel bad for the parents who wre dilligent and good parents. Will they move on? lol because they seem to be looking for them all around the tank. hopefully they will spawn again soon and i will not quarentine those babies as i do not want anymore but if some survive I will keep them. mainly the point of this thread is im wondering if removing the babies can cause depression in the fish? or will they simply just lay more eggs? i know some fish can get attached to mates or fry
