Doug,

Glad you made a good time of it. With my temper, I better stay away from there. I would have been tempted to crack "superman" in the jaw and wound up in jail. But then again, maybe you can flush toilet paper down the toilets in their jails. ?

Wow,... Sorry I brought it up !!! Makes me happy that my gf and I go to Hawaii every year !! Well, the only saving grace would be that you'll know never to book there again .
Hopefully the snorkeling and just relaxing by the pool made it a little easier to swallow .. Welcome back !!

No, flushing things down toilets in jails will get you additional charges when it plugs up the entire plumbing system. Had a kid do that.
BUT, I think that vacation looks great Doug. I wish I could do something like that. It looks like a ton of fun.

The sea lion just wanted some sweet sugar from you. I had a girlfriend that was a heavy smoker. Kissing her was a little like the sea lion. But she was built like nobodies business. So I got over it.

Well, I'm officially fish-less. They took the entire system this weekend. There's still the fitness club's tank though.....

I also sold off the fish and corals from the gym tank too. Now there's just whatever frags were left on the rocks. The funny thing is, everything is going to grow back eventually, if the owner doesn't overstock. He mentioned he just wanted a single lionfish. I may get him a fuzzy dwarf or fu man chu. My care for that tank will end with this month. All of his livestock went to a 400 gallon. They must be in heaven....a 150 must have been like a tiny prison cell to them.

Whoa,... This is starting to feel like gale Sayers , and dick Butkus leaving football ,.... Quick put up another tank in that hole in your wall !!!

The powder blue is quite territorial. He does force the sailfin to lose out on a meal from time to time, but so far it hasn't been unbearable. If I had it over again, I would have substituted him for a hippo.
Our trip was good. We made it good, but If I sat there and focused on every thing that was not to my standards, I could say it sort of sucked.

Here is my review of the resort, which I posted on Trip Advisor:

Has anyone ever told you that you look like a mix of Bill Goldberg and Jay Glazner?

Not a cross, but I heard both names mentioned. A lot more Goldberg a few years ago....I seem to be losing mass with age....OMG....I love that sea lion. I wanted to pet him...like a fishy, slobbery, french mastiff....

After seeing photos, I could see Doug going "Goldberg" on a LFS employee selling someone all of the fish that was in the Finding Nemo Aquarium for them to put all together into their 10 gallon tank and telling them they will all be fine.... :ROFLMAO:

Ahh...I'm getting old now...I'm a lover, not a fighter anymore....however, I did just get back from the "LGS", and picked up this baby at a good price-

.223 or 5.56 nato? Have you ever checked out Cheaperthandirt.com for discount bulk ammo

No. You can shoot both .556 NATO and .223 out of this gun. It's a .556 barrel but ".223 Rem round in a 5.56 NATO gun, isn’t dangerous. The leade is longer, so a slight loss in velocity and accuracy may be experienced, but there is not a danger of increased pressures and subsequent catastrophic failure." The other way around-
On a .223 Remington spec rifle, the leade will be 0.085”. This is the standard described by the Sporting Arms and Ammunition Manufacturers’ Institute, Inc. (SAAMI). The leade in a 5.56 NATO spec rifle is 0.162”, or almost double the leade of the .223 rifle.
A shorter leade in a SAAMI spec rifle creates a situation where the bullet in a 5.56 NATO round, when chambered, can contact the rifling prior to being fired. By having contact with the rifling prematurely (at the moment of firing), chamber pressure can be dramatically increased, creating the danger of a ruptured case or other cartridge/gun failure.
