I've got a 55 gallon tank with two African cichlids in it as of two days ago. I plan on putting 12 more in but don't know how to go about doing it. Should I put them in one at at a time or in groups?

Well that depends on aggression of which fish you are getting and is the tank cycled if so was it fishless or fish-in cycle

Not 1 at a time the 1 will be singled out and harassed maybe killed. The type of cycling doesn't matter you have two fish in now. I would add 3 at a time giving at least a week maybe two in between adding new fish.

This will give time for water parameters to even out and give the fish a chance to settle in.
