Low Cost Cichlid tank under $100

Is there any low cost tanks that are suitable for cichlids under $100

Used set ups would fit that category. There are lots of small cichlids that don't require a large tank set up. Sometimes free set ups are to be had as well,

Definitely depends on the species, but generally $100 is going to be extremely tight, especially if you are wanting rift lake cichlids, commonly just called "african cichlids"

Petsmart has a $2 per gallon sale with hood that ends this week I think, so the 55g with hood it's $110. Still need a heater and filter but you are just asking about the tank. Petco occasionally does a $1 per gallon for just the tank so a 55g (no lid) would be $55.

I've got my 55 gallon on classifieds with stand, heater, filter, decor and 5 cichlids for $50. And I got my 30 gallon with stand etc etc etc for $60. Classifieds are awesome. We have a local one called KSL, but Craigslist is another good one.
