Your fish are gorgeous! Lots of good info in this thread.
For the tilted sponge filter you can cut the plastic tube so that you can run it in an upright position.
My wife thinks all of you guys are imaginary.

Those are my wife's fish and I am the attendant to them.
kinda like the pool boy minus all the benefits. J/K
We both enjoy them and they were the 1st fish we put in and they have survived through it all.
Lost power for 5 days last winter too.
We are partial to our fish.
I can do what ever I want to our tanks as long as she's OK with it.
I can put whatever fish I want in them as long as she picks them out.
I had to convince her the parrot fish was not a good choice to put in the 90 if she liked her EBA's alive. And that was a hard fight but I won. ??

Thanks Bandit. I really have my fingers crossed but if I actually raise them I'm not sure what the heck I'm gonna do with all of them.....lol

Haven't looked at eggs this morning yet but they were still sitting on the rock last night.
I've read it usually takes 3 days for the Blue Acara to hatch but not sure if the EBA is a little longer or not.
Meanwhile the Ma and Pa and other Pa are kinda at it again it seems.
They have been really showing out.
If this batch don't hatch maybe the next one will cause I think there will be more soon enough.
Fingers crossed.

Best to pick up the you can take apart & purchase another ceramic diffuser to swap out...clean mine using h2o2 bath..

I've often wondered how effective the GLA diffusers are. They can get pricey.
I use a Fluval ceramic diffuser and a generic glass+ceramic diffuser I got on Amazon. It sits under the HOB filter intake and is hidden from view.
