If you do, or if a lot of evaporation occurs, that heater might shatter, better to play it safe and lower it IMO. Haven't seen many tanks with a light sky blue background and I like it more than the "standard" blue that's used. What do you have in it and what do you hope to keep?
mike406 said:Better for now. I way a 125 drilled. This is my first tank ever and I am hooked
I have a Tom rapids rp3 plus with a 3.5 gallon auto fill. And built in protein skimmer. Should I upgrade the heater to an inline ? I have a fox face, a cardinal, and a box fish with 2 blue chromis so far. Also 4 turbo snails 4 hermit crabs 1 sand sifting star and 1 serpant star. I hope to upgrade in a few weeks and get a naso tang, Picasso trigger, dwarf lion fish, Niger trigger maybe. What do u think. I don't want ur common salt fish. Oh also an eel. Help me with ur advice
Add some corals to bring color to the tank.
mike406 said:I was actually putting this 55 gallon in my office and replacing it with a much larger tank. How do u feel about the filtration system he talked about. ?
Beengirl said:Which filtration? I know nothing about sumps and overflows, sorry!! I have Fluval canister with aqua C skimmer and lots of LR.
