New 20 gallon setup

They are dimmable and a timer takes care of the rest! I bought some cheep blue led strip lights to give the moon light effect!

Where did you attach the moon lights?

they are underwater at the front of the tank! Out of the way and cheap I think only $25 each I have 2!

Do you have to buy a fixture to hang the par38s?

Ya I made mistakes not researching into lights! Bought a 2 bulb then the orbit led, found them to be to weak for what I wanted to do! Now I have the rapidled par 38 and the moonlights on a separate timer to keep it lite at night

Did you but the actinic bulb or the other one? Do they come with the fixture for hanging or what?

I bought the mixed par 38's and used a couple ikea light fixture we had! Hung them from the curling!

Ok. Do you have I screw them in?

Ya they screw in just like the corkscrew fluorescents!

Oh alright. I'll have to find a fixture for them though.

The fixture can be very basic! I will take a pic when I get home!

Something like this would work well for the PAR38's and could probably be found at Home Depot or Lowe's for cheap..

I still haven't decided. Though I'm leaning towards the Orbit.
