That looks to be a molt of your original shrimp. As they get bigger, the old shell comes off, and a new, larger one forms. If it doesn't move, it's a molt.
Good luck with your tank!

£150 later. Tank looking awesome!!

Crazy quick!! Define upgrades?

Power heads (ever here of the mp-4 and mp-10).

More importantly. A sump (check out PVC overflow), a phosban 150 reactor w/ GFO, not a must, but a protien skimmer can help.

These things come after your break from the build. Take time to sit back and marvel at your job well done! :)

Great stuff cheers :). No room for a sump but there is a protein skimmer already running :). Time to wisely choose fish now

Good plan. Gonna wait till the tank matures a bit before adding anything out of the norm

Good call, gobies are resilient, blennies not so much. Clowns can handle allot. Maybe a 6 line wrasse? Im full of ideas. Look forward to seeing your choice.

I look forward to making the choice. Just trying to focus on corals first. Thought that if I spend a lot now with small pieces. In 6 months it should really spread.

This is true. Some of the best reef tanks do not have fish. It should bloom until you decide to get some.

Fingers crossed!! And thanks for the support bud. Where are u based by the way.

I am in Las Vegas, NV, US. I've been meaning to ask you the same. I was thinking uk. Nothing like having a salt water tank in the desert! ;)

Vegas!! Love the place. Been there a few times :) I live in Brighton UK
