New Dwarf Cichlids

I have a 30 gallon tank and im wondering what are my options for cichlids. And are those options hady, whats the water need to be, etc.?

I don't know much about requirements, butcher are three-
Apistos
Rams- very sensitive
Shell dwelling cichlids

I reccomend apistos, but ram could be another option if you're willing to deal with some problems. It's not that big but they do have some pH And hardiness problems. I raised rams and didn't lower my pH at all, it was 7.8. My lfs said they was always breed in high pH so they're used to it but living in lower pH will be better
