New tank

Just started my first FW tank I have a bata in it now it's 10g any suggestions?

With a betta you could probably only have some shrimp. But if you got rid of the betta you could have a school of small tetras and a dwarf gourami.

All the bettas I've had can be put into community tanks I currently have two halfmoon bettas in seperate tanks one by himself and one in a community tank Some good tank mates would be platies or guppies ppl say that you can't mix guppies but its not true I stick to getting darker colored guppies though so that might resolve the issue if your going to mix him with other fish stick to docile fish tiger barbs and similiar fish will nip at the bettas fins I currently have two ghost catfish two plagues and two guppies n a snail with my betta n he's fine I've had him for a year already
