Newbie saying hi and help

Hey guys, just to introduce myself, my name is Tom and I live in Cornwall UK. I’ve been keeping fish, quite successfully for about four years and have a Tetra 60l tank and external filter. My fish have all been well and healthy and I’m pretty on it with water changes. However I have a Scarlet Badis which has a white fluffy mass on his head. I can’t seem to find out what it could be. I’ve treated with Primafix and Melafix but the fish is not improving. Please can anyone give me an idea of what this is and how to treat? Or do I put the little guy out of his misery?

Welcome aboard
If possible post a pic of the Scarlet Badis. It sounds like a fungus infection but not certain without seeing the affected area. Have you tested your water parameters lately?
