So I'm giving a friend a 55g to clear out space, he wants a "pretty and active" tank. He's not so much into the monsters I keep ;) CA!!!

I openly admit I know absolutely nothing about any of them, minus the few that actually captured my interest (buttikoferi) and.. That's pretty much it. Haha.

So I just need a quick stock list of colorful that won't to overly aggressive. It's not my tank do I honestly could care less what they look like, I know he wants the electrics... Blue/yellow. So how many of each and other suitable tankmates would be appreciated.

Oh and don't worry, I hipped him to some pretty awesome CA's for his 120 ;) I'm not a total sellout. Haha

Haha I like you're style hukit, but he's pretty set on having "a lot" of fish and I know that the Africans are readily available. I don't know if my lfs would carry the ones you mentioned and he's not gonna order from online.

Side note I'm buying Tmacs from rapps again to put in his 120 so I can take the breeding pair when they grow out. And he can have the fry from them to grow out another pair.

South American community tank. Large school of tetras like rummy nose, keyhole cichlids, a pair of dwarves, some cories, bam, movement with new worlds! Or a geophagus tank!

Since he's set on old world then one of my favorites has to be the classic yellow and blue stock using 10-11 Pseudotropheus demasoni and 5-7 Labidochromis Caeruleus. Maybe have him make a list as to what's available locally so we can build a stock around that.
