Awesome Tracie. That is 55g? What kind of lighting is on it?

I just picked up a 55g cichlid setup and was looking at upgrading the lighting.

Yes 55g. And I'm not sure the lighting. I think it's just the one that came with the hood haha.

Nice. This one has the dual 24". Everything is filthy so I almost just want to buy a new top!

And all the rocks are from my yard so I saved a ton of money there!

I actually enjoy collecting rocks for my tanks, never did see the point in buying them from the lfs.

Me too, my rocks I found. The slate my best friend brought home for me from her dads yard and most my dad gave me which is fossil slate he dug out when he was a miner. The fossils look awesome underwater!!!

Hi tracie dose it not say on the lights what they are
I got my rocks all 80 ish kg of them from the river side lol add yes it saved me so much money all i done was boil them for 2 to 5 mins each

Here are a couple pictures of my 84 gallon tank. The big rocks are fake and also hollow, all my fish like to hide inside the rock instead of around it. Makes it hard to watch them.

My 140 gallon cichlid - lots of Lace rock and some fake plants.

My 240 gallon cichlid - Also lace rock. I have replaced all the fake driftwood with real and some silk plants.

Well here is a few pics of our tank. I realize that it is a little over stocked in the short term. But that's the joy of buying new tanks. So my babies are fun to watch together now though.
