My convicts had babies today and they're doing a fine parenting job even though they're in an African Cichlids tank

I would worry about the safety of the other fish, convicts become the devil incarnate when they have young

I'm watching them luckily there're a many hiding places in my 50 gal tank

I would however move them to a tank of their own as they don't mix well with africans, especially if they are Mbuna then you are not only looking at different environmental needs but 2 totally different dietary needs.
