So I have this red algae all over my tank, and I was wondering if anybody knew how to het rid of it. Its just a thin layer of red over alot of my rock on the walls a little and on the sand, it also looks like it has trapped bubbles under it all

there is a medication that petco carries but not required. if ur lights are on 24/7 that is cause of growth among other reasons. minimize light use and have cleaner crew

it's called cyanobacteria. nothing eats it IMO/IME and it's caused by excess nutrients. water changes, sucking out as much as you can, cutting back on feeding is the solution. altering lighting won't help.
