Slowww cycle?

iSo update on my fish in cycle, day 30. This is a 10gallon community tank. I added two guppies and a blue dwarf garamie two weeks ago. My tank hasnt fully cycled as I still have .25 ammonia and 5.0 nitrates. It is interesting that my nitrites only lasted for two days in week three and I havent had a hint of them. The fish are doing well, and next week the plan is to add one more hippie with 5 cherry shrimp and some moss.

ling term I am still wanting to add one more species that is a mid to low Lange dweller and has some personality. And one more plant when my lda gets them in.

any suggestions on the 3rd species?

Unfortunately can be slow I've seen other threads where nitrites come and go very quickly as well.

Checked ph at all to keep above 6.5'ish to get more bacterial growth?
