I have a 29 gal long with a few plants and some home made decor. Im getting bored of it, even tho I've had it for a month and a half haha. Anyone have any ideas to spice up my tank? I'd prefer making something rather than buying something. But I guess I could buy something haha any suggestions? I also have a 10 gal betta tank with almost nothin in it so I'll take ideas for that tank too.

Alright thanks. If I found some wood or something that I would want to add to the tank. What should I do to it to make it okay to put in?

Make sure it's not rotting or still green. Boil it or put it through the dish washer (no soap!) to kill any nasties. After that you can put it straight in your tank or continue to boil and soak to water log and leech tannin.

So I want to find a dead branch or log? That doesn't have moss and isn't rotting?

Moss is fine. You can just scrub it off. Rotting bits aren't.

Aha okay thanks for the help. I got baby mollies on the way so I wanna give them a nice tank to enter the world haha
