Forgot to tell you how I add and remove sand. I clean it in a five gallon bucket. Then I use a Tupperware bowl to scoop it, put the lid on, place it in the tank then take lid off once it's at bottom of tank. Make sure filters are off and I usually leave them off for a hour to let sand settle. Works great and prevents a lot of sand from drifting around in water
