I feed every other day with nutrafin max flake food and super soft pellets for sea star. I also so use frozen emerald entree twice a week.

Todays test results and woke up to my first death serphant star had it only 1 mth. I have also lost some blue legg hermmits but my red hermits are growing fast. My fish and shrimp look good.

Sorry for your loss.
How are you acclimating your inverts? If you are losing them, you may want to acclimate for longer periods.
How long are you running your lights?

ANY phosphate is fuel for the cyano...

Yep!

Well I bought a jebo uv 13watt ul sterilizer and a surface skimmer/ bubble trap for my aquac remona. Hope it helps.
How are you acclimating your inverts?
2+ hour drip ..... hermits they have been in my thank for over 3 mths

the UV will not help with cyno. skimmer upgrade is alsways a good thing. . what kind of water are you using?
you want 0 on PO4 and even then you can still get cyno.
Lighting what kind and how old are the bulbs?
Add any new lr that may have been in a tank with copper?

read up on cyno, there is a ton of info on the site...

Still fighting cyanobacteria , heres my test results as of today.

doing water change tonight.

Again PO4 is too high... Even with a 0 PO4 reading you can still get cyno. What it is doing is using it and its undetectable for our test kits.
Phosban reactors work well for total PO4 removal.

Do you have bio wheel or sponges in your filter/tank?
