Thanks guys... The diatoms are crazy, but not worried. Couple weeks I'll be adding a bunch more corals so it'll really fill in, then.

I'm pleased that the macro is doing well - I've gotta figure out how to "trim the chaeto"...

Just tear it off... Leave some and it'll fill in.

Here we go: nothing is fully open yet since I did a coral dip first. The GSP aren't even a little open.

It's pink zoas, mixed plays and GSP, and another GSP rock

You're right, my corals are outgrowing the tank quickly. The playing Monti, elegance, and birdsnest have quadrupled in size in a matter of months.

I'm waiting to upgrade till I get a more permanent residence. I'm planning to start looking to buy a house very soon. I was staying mobile with plans to move overseas, but it seems with the latest disaster in the auto industry of a key resin supplier, Japan is now a far distant memory.

I'm hoping to either get back into a 180, or minimum a 125 for the reef.

Lol why is there a rock climbing around on the wall of your 54? Haha;)

Lol that's a rock with a magnet inside attached to the glass by another magnet. They have different sizes and are used to hold frags or attach an aquascape to the glass lol

Diatoms are nearly burned out, and tank is back to looking good. Coraline spots are starting to appear on the baserock. All livestock is still live. Angler is eating great (still live for now) and everyone appears happy.

I am very happy that my red Macro is still growing well and looks awesome.

The only issue I'm having now is that my GSP's still haven't opened since I got them home... I'll keep waiting.

That's the name of the game in this hobby.... Waiting. Lol

Looked at the tank this morning to find....

GSP's are open! Diatoms are all but gone and everyone seems happy. Red macro all still holding on well.

Found a new "L"FS - hour away, but hands down the BEST I've seen yet. $169 spent on dry and livestock

I'll update with pics and such once I'm home.

Updates:

Tunze nano PH, black / pink favia, orange / green chalice, pulsing Xenia, new actinic light bulb, coco worm, FTS.
