I'd like to think of Samuel Jackson narrating..he uses more "colorful" words ;)
Tank looks good. Any thoughts on the bacteria additives?

Jesse

There are NO snakes on this plane...haha
As far as the additives I'll do some more tests this evening posting my findings..

Barman, all those plants VERY familiar.
Look at all that space in between the stems. Wonder if the plants will grow differently because of this (compared to the densely packed 20L). Looking good.
Thanks for the Hydor review. Let us know how the first filter cleaning goes.

We'll see what if any difference there might be with the growth of the stems...
Glad the hydor review was informative..tank on

Looks great tiger! So much space for activities! keep an eye on the diatoms from that substrate;) hopefully it's just unique to my little tank.

As it stands in my lowtech tanks the anubias struggles just to survive...although a variation in leak shape would do well I'll leave the anubias up to those it thrives for..

Oh nice! What size the 1000 or 500 model

Sent from my iPhone using Aquarium Advice

I had purchased the 500 & it was waiting for me when I got home...
The reactor was easy to install & is working good so far..
Made very well from strong plastics & the lock rings tighten up nicely...
There's still some air trapped within the reactor but I expect that when the system kicks back on tomorrow
for it to have been dissolved & at that time I should be able to tell how well it is dissolving co2..
There is noticeable new growth from a variety of the stems that I can see today & the Hydor Canister is still uber
quiet..

I have two of the sera 500's!
They are much better built then the Istas IMO.
I am still running my istas but they are in a sump.If they were not they probably would be gone and I would still be using the seras.
Good luck with it TT!

What bps do you maintain through the reactor & how's the diffusion?
