What size of tubing (inside diameter) did you use with the sera reactors? Is there a min/max flow rate?

What bps do you maintain through the reactor & how's the diffusion?

I can't count BPS!
I run 2 bubble counters!
This is on my 180g with 2 overflows and a sump with several drawers and overflows itself!
So I crank my regulator up pretty good as I have a PH controller!
It only takes around 15-30 minutes to drop 1 degree ph once the co2 kicks in.
I go through 20lbs around 3-4 times a year(3-4 months per refill)!!
I do not even have stellar or good growth but am blaming that on the NY Giants (my 11@ 10-15 year old clown loaches) for this!

I can't remember what size tube but one of the "average sizes" did work well because as TT mentioned the tightening lock ring feature for tubing on the seras is very good(really!).
They have the lock rings for both in & out as well as for the co2 input!
Seemed "cheesy" in the beginning but no complaints.
If leaking is removed from the equation(easy to say for guy with sump...)
the Ista and sera are very close on performance level IMO.
I originally ran both seras after my istas in series(total of four reactors
with two pumps and 2 co2 supplies.)
I have since removed the seras only because they are smaller(MY LFS only had the 500 and has not ever got the 1000,and they were pretty expensive there).
As for saturation I have not seen bubbles in my tank in a long time..

The hydor canister comes with 2 different sizes of tubing...
The intake tubing being 16/22mm..
The return tubing being
12/16mm which fit the sera 500
perfectly..

The hardscape is slowly beginning to disappear lol. How's the Monte Carlo doing?

Precisely my plan&the monte carlo was a tissue culture so a ways to go...

I'm at 4bps currently, it does impact flow but not horribly...maybe less than 10% reduction of flow.

So after checking the reactor this evening the air pocket had been completely dissolved..
After lights on the tank 99.5% clear with a micro bubble here & there..
Impressed to say the least..

I believe you'd suggested the reactor to another member, with that mentioned I decided to check it out...

I think i did, some guys on Barr report use it and had nothing but great things to say about it.
