Aquarium Advice Addict
The best advice I was given is check out the requirements (and suggestions) of a game you want to play, and go from there. Take Half Life 2 for instance. If your machine can run this, your machine can run anything available today.
requirements
1.2 GHz Processor
256MB RAM
DirectX 7 capable graphics card
Windows 2000/XP/ME/98
Mouse
Keyboard
Internet Connection
CD or DVD rom drive (retail version only)
suggestions
2.4 GHz Processor
512MB RAM
DirectX 9 capable graphics card
Windows 2000/XP/ME/98
Mouse
Keyboard
Internet Connection
CD or DVD rom drive (retail version only)
BTW, if you do decide to get CS, 1. get the silver package from www.steampowered.com , it has all the old games included, and check out ferret's site www.gamehavoc.com . I have the same screenname at that site.
