a little help for identifying

Not entirely sure wat fish this is. aquarium store called it an orange head cichlid but could be a red striped earteater or maybe something else. could any one id this little guy, a scientific name would be great to. Thanks people

It looks like a SA cichlid. Most likely geophagus.

Yea defiantly a geo just not sure which one. u guys wouldn't have an idea of how big they get

It looks like a geophagus proximus to me.......but i could be wrong

If you look them up on google.......look for the stripes on his tail
