Acei help!

My acei's fin gets bit on by other cichlids. I try fixing his fin by using stress coat plus and melafix. Any idea whats wrong or better meds to fix him?

mine are very peacfull so i keep them in there own tank. my yellow labs dont like them

All mine are very peacfull i recently got rid of the problem "bloody parrot kept picking on him" i jut need to know whats the best healing meds are or if thats going to turn into somethin that can kill the rest of my fish

If the fin-nipper has been removed, his fins should grow back and heal on their own. I don't think you need to medicate and I'd be concerned that medications could cause other tank issues. My snowflake cichlid had badly nipped fins but after rehoming my bully johanni his fins have healed and are perfect.

I agree. Clean water and good nutrition will aid his recovery. Good luck!
