need help with new cichlid

This is one I just got not sure what it is I just really liked him. Yesterday he went in my tank with 3 others and was doing fine. But today when light came on he was hanging out at the top and in the bubble wall and when he comes out he gets chased by everyone. Should I let it be and work out or put him in a breeder net for a few days till the tank calms down. They have pulled out my big acei he stays under a rock until he wants to show off or there is one that is getting picked on he brakes them up.

What other species are in your tank? What size is your tank?

You need to research before purchasing. Cichlids are territorial and notorious for not doing well with others in the same tank.

I did this with mbuna and a sunshine peacock the other day. I have several mbuna and added this one and they took him out in 12 hours. Learned from that. Good luck. Research
