whats my female kenyi doing

So my female is pulsating really wierd whats going on

Yeah i got a pair from a breeder but she was shimmying to a snow white not my male kenyi

It's pretty common for females to shimmy like a male does but it could be you have another male kenyi and not a female.

True my yellow labs do it all the time even 1 male!

How do tell the sexes apart on africans both my kenyi are like 4 to 5 inches ones blue the others yellow if it was a male wouldnt he have changed by now

Yes at that size he would have changed and like I said some females shimmy too.

Africans don't pair up a male African will mate with all the females in the tank if he can.They have no problem cross breeding.

Many on here would disagree with hybridisation.Its all to do with true blood lines and keeping the breeds pure.

yeah i had a pretty good sized blue kenyi and one day it just decided to change color. she might be a sub dominant male. just a guess
