It looks to be experiencing stn or slow tissue necrosis. Is the white part completely dead or can you still see polyps?

How strong are your lights? That's normally what causes the bleaching/browning I think.

I'd check your alk. Alk swings are #1 killer of sps IMO.

Get the sand off! Anything settling on sps is bad news and causes die off
