I think I'm biased because I own an evolve. The tank works efficiently, and I've seen a few mods on YouTube for it to be a very successful saltwater tank.

Are you keeping corals in it? Did you modify the lighting? PetCo has had the 4 gallons on clearance, and I've considered getting one, but I'm not sure exactly what I'd do with it.

I bought the fluval as a freshwater but I've seen pple carry low light corals with the stock light but you could always have a marineland led strip they cost around 25-32$ on amazon and work very well, I use them on my five gallons
