blue chromis to school????

How many blue chromis' would I need for them to school in a 300 gallon tank?

that depends on how many you want to look at.....I consider a school to be 5 or more, but that is just my opinion.

I agreee. 5 minimum, but say you put more (maybe 7 or 8)? That may better insure that if any die, you'd still have enuf to school without having to introduce new chromis later to get the number back up. Got plenty of room in there.

Five for sure, but why not more? a big school of twelve or so would be pretty cool to watch.

I have either seven or eight now and when I only had four they were schooling. I recommend more because they are so cool to watch. If my husband would let me add more fish, I would get about 8 more. I really enjoy watching them. When they get scared is when the school the best.
