Coral ID

I need some help identifying this type of coral. Not the mushrooms, but the purple and white ones.

Looks more like sponges than coral to me.

I didn't know sponges could be that smooth. I always thought sponges were very porous.

I want some dark sponges i have a bunch but they are all white/light colored. I do have a neon yellow/green one though but its still really small.
