feather duster (baby) on hermit shell

I have a hitchhiker feather duster (Bright red, looks cool!!)
but it is on an abandoned hermit shell..
Do they change hosts at all? do they grow?

They do move around and may grow a bit but they don't get to large.

I had 100's until my copperband ate them. They will grow a little but will never compare to the ones you see for sale.

Well after closer inspection the hermit still occupies the shell
So i guess the duster is in for some traveling

Hope he moves to a rock
