fire worm

I found a couple fairly big fireworms in my tank. How do i do the panty hose trick? Can I use regular panty hose with no ill effects on the tank? Can I use a popsickle stick to prop it open? Cleaned of course .

Here is what I got from Steve S. take a meaty food, like a peice of shrimp and rollit up in a square peice of nylon. tie both ends loosly with string (think tootsie roll). Place it in the tank just after lights out. the fire worm should get entangled in the nylon.
