where's my blenny ?????

Bought a lawnmower blenny about a week ago. As soon as I put him in, he chomped on some of my hair algae. I thought that it was a good thing. Seems like he was at ease with his new surroundings. The next day he was out and about for a while before going into some rocks. Haven't seen him since. First I thought he might have jumped out. Looked all over but no sign of him. Is it common for them to hide all the time? I know he was hiding under rocks when I bought him but I'm thinking after a week, he should be hungry unless he comes out after the lights are off and eats..

my lawn mower hides more at nite but he is also very active during the day dancing around the tank
if he don't appear in next day or so I'd assume the worst cause usually there very active
