Thanks! I have java moss, java fern, purple krinkle, hornwort, and the largest plant on the middle left I got recently and forget the name.

Yeah it is I got the package deal of the 40 filter and heater and hood light. I just bumped up the size of the light from the original and I'm not near the tank to give the exact lighting

Ok. Do you remember how much the lighting was? And possibly the name

24 inch florescent 17 watts but I believe I bumped it to a slightly higher watt

Cool. Have you had the plants long. I have same wattage but have been told my plants would not do well.

I use API leaf zone as a supplement for the plants. Purple crinkle is particularly hard to have without adequate light. But with the added nutrient it's been doing great for about a month. All the other plants do great as well and grow like weeds

One of those plants is high light. How long have you had it?

Sent from my iPad using Aquarium Advice

About a month and it's doing great

Haha. Not funny that it's dead but just funny how the conversation just turned like that.

Looking good, man.

If it were my tank, I'd remove the little clear crystal rocks just because of how the rest looks so natural and especially with them on that black sand it kind of takes away from the rest. And, if I were going to add more driftwood I'd remove the other pieces and make it just one piece that spans the entire length just so it doesn't come off looking too crowded. Again, that's just my personal preference.

Definitely a good looking tank and a lot of progress since the "before" picture.

Would you be able to get the exact light fixture today? I am going to petco soon.

I think using some fishing line to tie some anubias to that piece of would on the right would look cool.
