I have two african dwarf frogs in a hex 10-15 gallon tank with 3 zebra danios, 3 neon tetras and a snail.
The tank is fully cycled, with a heater, filter, bubble wall with plenty of hiding places.
One of my frogs eats like a pig, and will eat the snails algae wafers, the fish flakes that I push past the surface to let fall onto the bottom, and probably anything else.
The other frog I havent really seen eat anything but I have seen him eat his own skin after he shed
Ive had them both for a month, and I understand they eat at night and probably eat algae wafers while Im asleep, except I heard they like bloodworms for better nutrition.
My question is, can I drop 5 betta pellets (betta is in another tank) in there, wait for them to soak and fall to the bottom and let the frogs eat that once a week? At least rather than buying frozen bloodworms or a different type of frog food?
Or am I really okay with just letting them eat algae wafers and fish flakes?
