aggressive plecos

Bought two small candy stripe plecos last week. Didn't really see them all that much unil yesterday I out in a small school if peppered Cory.. now the plecos are showing territorial behavior and fiercely chasing off the Cory's and eachother.. never thought plecos of any kind were very aggressive unless spawning.

There are waaay too many different species of pleco's to generalize their territorial behavior. Some are fine in groups, some are mild-high level conspecific aggressive, and some are even predatory on other fish species.
